Message For Help

It is vital that all Ratton students are able to share safeguarding or mental health concerns with the school. Please fill in the form if you have a safeguarding concern. It will be passed onto our Designated Safeguarding Lead.

For general enquiries please email info@ratton.co.uk. If you have an online learning enquiry please fill in the form on the Online Learning page.

Parent/Carer Information

At this time of national lockdown we are keen to ensure we promote the safety of students when they are asked to work online.  It’s vital that there are very clear reporting routes in place so parents/carers and students can raise any concerns whilst online. As well as reporting routes back to Ratton via the Message for Help form there is also age appropriate practical support from the likes of:

Childline - for support

UK Safer Internet Centre - to report and remove harmful online content

CEOP - for advice on making a report about online abuse

Use of educational online companies or tutors not from Ratton School

We’re aware that parents and carers may choose to add to our online offer with support from online companies and in some cases individual tutors. If this is the case, you must use a reputable organisation/individual who can provide evidence that your son/daughter is safe and can be trusted. Support for parents and carers to keep their children safe online includes:

Internet matters - for support for parents and carers to keep their children safe online

London Grid for Learning - for support for parents and carers to keep their children safe online

Net-aware - for support for parents and careers from the NSPCC

Parent info - for support for parents and carers to keep their children safe online

Thinkuknow - for advice from the National Crime Agency to stay safe online

UK Safer Internet Centre - advice for parents and carers

For general enquiries please email info@ratton.co.uk. If you have an online learning enquiry please email itsupport@ratton.co.uk
