Dear Parents/Carers,
We are very much looking forward to welcoming year 10 back to Ratton School on Wednesday 9th September 2020. Students will spend time with their tutor, familiarising themselves with the new school layouts and Covid-19 specific procedures.
Students are expected to wear full and correct Ratton uniform (no need to bring PE kit for the first day), carrying a bag big enough to contain the following - water bottle, pen, pencil, ruler, diary, reading book, calculator and an A4 sized folder which will be provided by the school. Also a facemask for use in indoor communal areas.
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate students on site before 8:30am, but students should make their way onto site from Park Avenue, down to enter via the gate opposite the field access point for 8:40am to be met by their tutors. We realise that students and yourselves may be anxious on their first day but we ask that if it is necessary to drop a student off:
o Only 1 parent must drop off or collect your son/daughter.
o Please do not gather at the school gates and do not come onto the school unless it is essential or by appointment. Please observe social distancing rules.
o If travelling by public transport, then face masks are mandatory.
