PARENT GOVERNOR OPPORTUNITY AT RATTON

WE NEED YOU! PARENT GOVERNOR OPPORTUNITY AT RATTON
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Ratton, as we look to recruit a Parent Governor for the school.
Before you think that being a Parent Governor may not be right for you or that you do not have the time to commit to such a role, let us explain what we are looking. Rest assured, being a Parent Governor is a really important role within the school and takes up only a modest amount of time.
Parent Governors represent the parent body and use their perspective as a parent, or carer, to help the governing body make good decisions, maintaining a link between governance and the parent and carer community.
There are a total of five governing body meetings during the school year, which take place at the school itself. The governing body works in a supportive environment and would welcome interest from any parents or carers within our school community.
We want people who are passionate about our school and want the best for our students. If this sounds like you and you would like to apply or, you would just like to find out more about the role, please email our Clerk: Lisa Davis (Clerk@sdlt.org.uk) by Friday 28th January 2022.
We look forward to hearing from you, our community, in respect of this exciting opportunity.
Please do get in touch with Lisa and help shape the future for Ratton and, importantly, our students.
