In August 2012 Ratton School converted to The Ratton School Academy Trust.
We did this in order to gain greater freedom and more control over our resources to fulfill our vision of being a school that develops caring, confident and creative students who achieve excellence.
As an Academy we manage our own admissions, own the site and employ our staff. These are freedoms that we exercise for the benefit of our students and our community. We still follow the Local Authority admissions policy because we believe that we are a fundamental part of the local education provision.
