Both
#TeamRatton and
#TeamOcklynge, our
#SDLT schools, represented this year and what an amazing job both groups did. Our mixed group from
#TeamRatton wow'ed with their talent and flair, and our
#TeamBoys group for Ocklynge opened the second show with their energy and dance to 'Pump it'. A huge WELL DONE to both groups, you represented
#SouthDownsLearningTrust with fun, enthusiasm and energy!
The evening saw over 20 schools from Key Stage 2 upwards, performing any style they wished to music of their choice. The one universal theme was to bring joy and happiness that they feel in performing their piece across to those witnessing from the auditorium and, boy oh boy, did they all do that! Two full house evenings, alive with music, dance and, most definitely, joy!
Finally, a staff shout-out and huge THANKS goes out to Miss Hughes, teacher of Dance at Ratton, who helped run the event, hosted on the evening and choreographed both dances for
#TeamRatton and
#TeamOcklynge. Your dedication and passion for your teaching area was tangible and you should be really proud, we certainly are. Well done.
